FAQs:
Q) What are Spider veins?
A) Spider veins (thread veins) are small, thin veins that lie close to the surface of the skin. They may appear as a group of veins radiating outward from a dark central point; resemble tiny branch-like shapes; or appear as thin separate lines.
Q) What causes spider veins?
A) A number of factors can contribute to the development of spider veins including genetics, pregnancy, hormonal shifts, weight gain, sun exposure, lack of exercise, and having an occupation that requires sitting or standing for long periods of time. Studies have also shown that estrogen weakens capillary walls, thus the chances of developing spider veins are increased with the use of birth control pills and estrogen replacement therapy as well as during pregnancy. General aging is also associated with the dilation and weakening of capillary walls.
Q) What is the difference between a spider and varicose veins?
A) Varicose veins differ from spider veins in a number of ways- varicose veins are larger, darker in color, and tend to bulge. Varicose veins are also more likely to cause pain and can be related to more serious vein disorders.
Q) How does Vein Away Plus work?
A) The combination of Phytotonine, Vitamin A, and botanical oils in Vein Away Plus helps to promote the repair, elasticity, and general health of veins as well as having a favorable action on microcirculation. Vitamin A also helps to prevent sun damage- in turn avoiding one of the risk factors for the development of spider veins.
Q) How long does Vein Away Plus take to work?
A) Because every person has their own unique physiology and the severity of spider vein problems differ, results may vary. pH balance and skin type can also have an effect on how quickly this product will work. Generally, people who apply Vein Away Plus twice daily see results within six to eight weeks.
Q) Are there any side effects from using Vein Away Plus?
A) The are no common side effects but it is wise to test Vein Away Plus on a small area of your skin and wait 24 hours before beginning treatment just in case of an allergic reaction. Avoid contact with eyes and avoid ingestion.
